To All 2003 Golf Tournament Participants,
Thanks again for joining us in what promises to be two very exciting golf events this year. Please read this entire page thoroughly as it consists of most all of the little details you will need to know to maximize your enjoyment out of this years tournaments. Please note all participants MUST check-in prior to play in both events. It is anticipated that the weather will be quite hot this year on both days. Players should plan accordingly by bringing a hat and sunscreen.
In the Blue and Gold Cup, all participants are STRONGLY encouraged to wear either a blue or a gold shirt depending on which side you are on. The "proper" blue color is Navy Blue (although any other blue is ok), and gold is whatever you may have that comes close (yellow is fine for example). Despite prior announcements, we want EVERYONE to be there early so that we can take group pictures at the time noted below. Please allow extra time to get to Cross Creek. 11:30 A.M. Team Pictures (mandatory for all - on the driving range)
11:40 A.M. Captain’s Speeches (brief – also on the driving range)
12:00 Noon First Tee Time
1:50 P.M. Last Tee Time
You will be encouraged to drive over to Pala Mesa immediately upon the conclusion of play. We will not be announcing the results or the winning team at Cross Creek. It is a 20 minute drive to Pala Mesa.
7:00 P.M. Dining room (the Sun Room) opens for refreshments (no host bar)
7:45 P.M. Dinner starts at Pala Mesa
8:15 P.M. Match results are announced and winning team is determined
8:30 P.M. Captain’s victory and consolation speeches
8:45 P.M. Slideshow
