2008 Tournament Information
This year we have decided after much careful and painstaking thought to move the tournament back to our traditional spot of northern California. That being the case, we have selected two new courses for our events this year and we are very happy to be able to bring these two facilities into the CBI family.
The 13th Annual Blue and Gold Cup will be held Friday, July 25th at the Bridges Golf Club in San Ramon, Ca. The Bridges is a very well kept, Scottish style links course designed by Johnny Miller. It is a beautiful facility, with an excellent clubhouse, where we will hold a dinner ceremony after the conclusion of play. The Blue and Gold Cup is a match play competition, and currently as a result of last years Marc Corless led team victory, the Blue leads the series 6-5-1. First tee time will be 11:00 a.m.
The 21st Annual Clark Brothers Invitational will be held at the new Callippe Preserve Golf Club in Pleasanton, CA. The Callippe Preserve is a new course (it opened in November of 2005) and is situated in the rolling hills of southwest Pleasanton. It has received great reviews and a number of accolades since its opening. We are looking forward to seeing how our CBI with its scramble format takes on this challenging course. First tee time will be 11:24 a.m.
We will do our best to continue our tradition of providing you with a very enjoyable golf as well as social experience. We look forward to seeing you in late July in the Bay Area as we begin the march into our third decade!
